- We collaborate with International, National, Regional, Local, and District Healthcare Directorates to access the needs of their constituents.
- We collaborate also with International Agencies, as well as other non-governmental agencies to fulfill our mission and vision.
- We work with local traditional Councils, Chiefs, Opinion Elders, Religious bodies and their Leaders, School authorities, local unions, etc. to organize our activities and outreaches.
- We partner with local and other international environmental agencies to create environmental awareness.
- We coordinate with High schools and other Tertiary Institutions to promote hygiene and caring campaigns.
Some Facts about Africa
- Africa is the world’s poorest and most underdeveloped continent with a continental GDP that accounts for just 2.4% of global GDP.
- Africa faces the world’s most dramatic healthcare crisis: although the continent bears one-quarter of the global disease burden, it has just 2% of the world’s doctors.
- Approximately 90% of all cases of malaria worldwide occur in Africa, accounting for 24% of all child deaths in sub-Saharan Africa.
- Africa is the continent with the highest mortality rates, and it is the only continent where deaths from infectious diseases still outnumber deaths from chronic diseases.
- Africa needs the infrastructure, the manpower, the technology, and the techniques how to overcome healthcare’s deadly menace.
- Water scarcity impacts the lives of over 300 million Africans, of whom approximately 75% of Africans rely on groundwater as their primary source of drinking water. Global warming is aggravating the situation.
